Good Things Come in Twos: Bullritos Celebrates Two-year Anniversary with “unbelievabull” Two for One Burrito Offer

Lafayette, LA, May 29, 2013 – What’s better than a fresh, customized burrito? Two fresh, customized burritos! Bullritos, Lafayette’s “bag ‘n’ go” burrito joint, will offer customers buy one, get one free burritos on Thursday, June 6th to celebrate the restaurant’s two-year anniversary. The free burrito must be of equal or lesser value than the purchased burrito. Bullritos is located at 2201 Kaliste Saloom Road in The Shops at Martial. This offer is valid on June 6th only, during normal operating hours of 11 AM-9 PM.

Franchisee John Reily Thomason wanted to extend a special offer to the loyal customers who have helped shape the success of the Bullritos Lafayette location since its 2011 opening. “I’d like to thank the people of Lafayette for supporting us for the past two years,” Thomason said. “We are very grateful to the community for its business.”

Thomason plans to open a second Bullritos in Lafayette in the fall. A member of the McIlhenny Tabasco® family, Thomason is a native of New Orleans who spent many weekends during his youth on Avery Island and owns a home there today. With this kind of tie to the local community, Thomason felt it made sense to start his businesses here. “I grew up spending a lot of time in the area,” Thomason noted. “It is important to me to invest my time and money in the Lafayette community.”

The second location will be located at 2918 Johnston Street in the Winnwood Shopping Center. Thomason hopes to open the doors for business at the end of the third quarter.
